We are thrilled to announce Persephone Theatre’s Stand By Our Stage matching campaign in partnership with the Robert Steane Fund for the Arts at Saskatoon Community Foundation.
For every dollar donated, Persephone Theatre receives $2. Your gift will ensure that Persephone will return, stronger than ever, once we all emerge from this pandemic.
Many of you have made Persephone Theatre part of your family’s holiday traditions. We’ll miss seeing you this holiday season, however we are so grateful for any investment you’re able to make toward Persephone Theatre’s future.

Below, General Manager Kristen Dion shares her thoughts on the year at Persephone including her best wishes and gratitude for all your support.
For 10 years, Persephone’s Young Company program has provided more than 160 youth of Saskatoon with fundamental acting training. Each season, we proudly work alongside some of our community’s brightest creative talents; giving them an introduction to the world of professional theatre.This year is no exception.
This fall, we’ve adapted our in-person classes to a COVID-safe model where they explore and create theatre online and in a Virtual Reality environment. Our remarkable students continue to inspire us with their talents and ingenuity. They have shown incredible adaptability to the ways we teach, make, and share theatre. They are currently working on a short piece that will be performed online for our Directors Circle members and friends later this month. We can’t wait to show off what they’ve created for you!
Your support will ensure that young artists like Gracie can continue their training.
