As we welcome live audiences into the theatre for a new season, we recognize the ongoing importance of keeping our patrons, artists, volunteers, staff and community members healthy and safe to ensure the live-performance spaces remain open. We ask all guests on site to be mindful of the following protocols we have in place.
All those attending events not produced by Persephone but held in the building are also asked to continue following the below protocols.
Please note: as the COVID situation is ever changing, so are our policies around it. Audience members are encouraged to visit our website before attending any events held in the building for the most up-to-date protocols.
Thank you for doing your part to help keep our community healthy and support the safe continuation of live performances.
COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
At this time, proof of vaccination is not required to attend Persephone Theatre events.
Face Masks
Masks are optional. They will have a limited stock of disposable masks available, please talk to the box office or front of house staff. Performers will be unmasked while on stage.
Cleaning Protocols
Persephone Theatre continues to have enhanced cleaning protocols in place. High touch surfaces (doorknobs, railings, elevators, washrooms) continue to be sanitized frequently. Our custodians will continue to support the greater cleaning needs of the building.
Ticket Refunds and Exchanges
If you feel ill, have tested positive for COVID-19, or have come in close contact with someone who has tested positive, we ask that you please stay home and not attend your event to keep others safe. Please contact the box office at 306-384-7727 to arrange moving your tickets to a different night or to return your ticket for a credit to your account to be used at a later date.
Theatre Capacity and Distancing
We are no longer enforcing social distancing inside the theatre; however, it is still encouraged in the rest of the building. All of the seats in the theatre are available for sale, with a full capacity potential of 412. You may find yourself sitting next to another patron. If you would prefer socially distanced seating, please contact the box office who will do their best to assist you in finding an available seat you may find suitable.
Arrival At The Theatre
We recommend patrons arrive at the theatre when the doors open for their event. This will help make everything run more smoothly and we will make every effort to get our patrons into the lobby as efficiently as possible. The parkade doors will be open during shows, for patrons to have easy access without having to exit the building.
Food and Drink Service
The concession will be open, with food and drink allowed to be consumed in both the lobby and at your seat.
Please note: as the COVID situation is ever changing, so are our policies around it. Audience members are encouraged to visit our website before attending any events held in the building for the most up-to-date protocols.
Thank you for doing your part to help keep our community healthy and support the safe continuation of live performances.
