In June of 1976, Persephone Theatre re-mounted its highly successful original play,Cruel Tears, in Saskatoon, and then moved it to Vancouver for the Bavitat Festival and on to Montreal for the Olympic Games. Cruel Tears was heralded as on of the most successful box office shows at the games.
