About the Workshop:
A playful and engaging opportunity to explore monologues, hosted by Persephone Theatre in partnership with the Shaw Festival. This two-and-a-half-hour session, led by Kristi Frank, an embedded artist at the Shaw Festival, will focus on practical exercises to elevate your monologue preparation in a group and partnered format. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this extraordinary opportunity. This is a great time to brush up your audition material in advance of General Audition season!
About the Instructor:
Kristi Frank is a singer, dancer, actor, teacher, and mentor. She hails from North Battleford, SK, and has enjoyed a career that has taken her across Canada and abroad. Currently, in her 11th season at the Shaw Festival, she looks forward to her 12th season when she will star as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady. As an embedded artist in the company, her time off the stage is spent teaching people of all ages. Classes she has taught include audition preparation, dance, scene study, and monologue workshops.
