Four designers pull back the curtain on bringing Regency Christmas to the stage with Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberly

With hammers and nails, needles and thread, lights and music and one enormous spruce tree, a tight-knit creative team has brought Christmas to life in Saskatoon.

This wasn’t a wayward group of Santa’s elves lost on their way to the North Pole; they are the designers behind Persephone Theatre’s production of Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley.
Months before opening night, costume designer C.S. Fergusson-Vaux, scenic designer Ken MacKenzie, lighting designer William Hales and sound designer Grahame Kent pored through the script, delved into historical research, then used the tools of their trades to create a wintry estate on the cusp of a holiday celebration.
