When Disney brought Hans Christian Anderson’s Little Mermaid to life back in 1989, they sparked a passion for the aquatic princess in girls around the world. True – Disney gave the play a happier ending than the original story, but that’s just fine with Synthia Yusuf. She plays the role of Ariel in Persephone Theatre’s production of the show, and joins host Shauna Powers to discuss the experience.
