The Woman in Black

Recommended Audience: 12+
Running time: 2 hours, including intermission

Decades of obsession over a curse that he believes has been cast over him and his family by the spectre of a Woman in Black leads Arthur Kipps to engage a skeptical young actor to help him tell his terrifying story and finally exorcise the fear that grips his soul. But memory and reality begin to blur – are these lurking shadows a trick of the eye, or a haunting truth that will not be denied?

Set on the stage of an old Victorian theatre, The Woman in Black delivers atmosphere, illusion, and gothic horror to give you chills you won’t soon forget!

“The Woman in Black is a gothic horror – a psychological thriller that relies on your mind and imagination to amplify the story – and its is one of the best in the genre! This play relies on classic theatre tricks and the magic of live storytelling, which makes it super fun for the artists to create, and the audience to experience because they can’t help but wonder ‘How did they do that?!'”
-Heather Cant, Artistic Director
