When twin white bison calves are born into a First Nations herd in Saskatchewan, the community is engulfed in a national media storm. This play by Saskatchewan’s own Kenneth T. Williams explores the clashing priorities between science, money, power, and Indigenous sovereignty. As others wrestle the question of whether the twins are a portent of a sacred prophecy or merely a one in a billion scientific event, one Indigenous scientist fights to keep both her ethics and the herd alive.
