Healthcare Workers Appreciation Night

UPDATE (December 7, 2021): This Health Care Appreciation Night is SOLD OUT.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been one group of people who have been working tirelessly to help everyone – healthcare workers.

Persephone Theatre wants to thank healthcare workers by hosting an Appreciation Night on December 21 of its holiday production of It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m.

“Our healthcare workers in the city have been working non-stop throughout the pandemic,” Persephone Theatre General Manager Kristen Dion said. “We wanted to find a way to show how much we appreciate everything they do for our community, which is why we decided to hold the Healthcare Workers Appreciation Night.”

Healthcare workers, including doctors, nurses and support staff, will have the opportunity to see the production, free of charge, thanks to the generous support of donors.

“We really appreciate the support of our amazing sponsors and donors at Persephone Theatre,” Dion said. “Without them, hosting events like the Healthcare Workers Appreciate Night would not be possible.”

Healthcare workers can book tickets by calling the box office at 306-384-7727. When they pick up their tickets, they must show proof of employment, which could include an employee badge or a pay stub from their last pay cheque. Group bookings can be made through Development Officer Tatrina Tai at 306-384-2126 ext. 244.

Thank you also to Bema Autosports BMW for being a special event sponsor of Persephone Theatre.
