All Elf has broken loose at Persephone Theatre as we prepare to present you with a spectacular holiday show!
The production of ELF: The Musical boasts one of the largest casts ever to grace our main stage. This includes a brilliant Children’s Chorus, providing opportunities for many of our emerging young artists to work alongside, and be mentored by, seasoned theatre professionals.
Many of these youngsters are current or former students of Persephone’s School of Theatre, just like me, Benjamin Thomas. Watch the video to learn more about his acting journey (and see how you can get one of those cute stuffed elves)!

A recent study at Birkbeck University London found that access to live theatre can have a positive impact on both academic performance and social behaviours of children. Researcher Dr. Natasha Kirkham said, “Theatre can improve social bonding, allow for emotions to be explored in a safe space, develop the emotional and cognitive skills to deal with a complicated world, and kick-start conversations about important issues.”

- $100 allows a family of 4 to attend a Youth Series show
- $250 gifts an under-resourced child with a semester of Theatre School
- $500 brings our Youth Tour to a remote community in Saskatchewan
- $1000 provides a local school with tickets to a Main Stage Student Matinee
