Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley
Persephone Theatre is holding auditions for Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon, directed by Kenn McLeod
This sparkling, modern sequel to Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice visits the infamous Bennet sisters two years after the novel ends. When an unexpected guest arrives for the holiday festivities, Mary wonders if she has finally found her intellectual match, and if an adventurous new life with love at its centre might await her.
About Persephone Theatre
Persephone Theatre creates in misâskwatôminihk (Saskatoon) in Treaty 6 territory, whose signatories include the Nêhiyawak, Nêhithawak, Anishinabek, Nakawe, and Nakota peoples. COVID-19 Worksafe Policy
Artists will be required to provide proof of vaccination to Persephone prior to commencing work. Other Covid-19 protocols, such as masking and mandatory testing may also be in place and evolve to reflect best recommended practices at the time of production. These protocols will be communicated clearly to artists at the time of offer, and be included in the rider to their contract.
