General Auditions – Manitoba
Persephone Theatre is holding general auditions to get to know Manitoba artists.
General Audition Information:
General Auditions this year will be held in person in Winnipeg to connect with Manitoba theatre artists. Artistic Director Heather Cant will be in attendance.
Please prepare a monologue (maximum 2 minutes) for your audition as well as a second piece of your choice. Your second piece can be a song, playing an instrument, a special skill, a second monologue or added conversation time.
Persephone’s 2023-24 Season will be announced March 1st.

If there is a potential barrier that might prevent you from being able to audition, we encourage you to let us know so we can work with you to dissolve it.
We recognize that two days is not enough time to meet with every artist that may wish to be seen. We thank all who apply but only those selected for an audition will be contacted.
About Persephone Theatre
Persephone Theatre creates in misâskwatôminihk (Saskatoon) in Treaty 6 territory, whose signatories include the Nêhiyawak, Nêhithawak, Anishinabek, Nakawe, and Nakota peoples. This place also became the traditional homeland of the Métis Nation. We also acknowledge the contributions of the Dakota and Round Prairie Métis peoples in establishing our city of Saskatoon, as well as the other Nations that call this land home, including the Nehinawak, Lakota and Dene peoples. COVID-19 Worksafe Policy
Our current Covid-19 protocols require artists to provide proof of vaccination to Persephone prior to commencing work. Other Covid-19 protocols, such as masking, may also be in place at the time of production. These protocols will be communicated clearly to artists at the time of offer and be included in a rider to their contract.their contract.
