Signature Cocktail from Parlor inspired by 1 Hour Photo

Persephone is excited to introduce Murasaki, a signature cocktail by Downtown Saskatoon’s own speakeasy, Parlor. Inspired by Vancouver Asian Canadian Theatre’s 1 Hour Photo, Murasaki features Black Fox Haskap Gin, as well as Henkell Rosé, and Lemon Honey Cordial.

Murasaki in Japanese is the word for purple or violet and is the colour of the haskap berry. The haskap is a winter-hardy berry that is grown and harvested in both Japan and Canada.  In Japanese poetry, violet denotes love and constancy. Violet symbolizes warriors, nobility and strength.

The $50 Murasaki kits will make 4 cocktails and include:
2 x 50 ml bottles of Black Fox Haskap Gin.
1 x 200 ml bottle of Henkell Rosé.
1 x 6 oz jar of Lemon Honey Cordial.
1 x pack of dehydrated Lemon Wheels (garnish).
